Adam on tour through Germany
Adam Bobrow is stirring up the German table tennis community. He toured Germany for three weeks and brought countless people closer to table tennis à la Adam Bobrow. Down-to-earth, personable, creative, playful and as always, wildly entertaining. Countless matches, an UNTHINKABLE amount of autographs and more fan photos than could fit on the INTERNET!
Who wants to play?
His tour started at the TT shop TT-Xpert in Augsburg. He played with many young talents such as Nico Longhino and Zoe-Loreen Sommer. The next day he visited many places in downtown Augsburg with owner Martin Lodner to play with volunteers at every level of play, even having the pleasure of being challenged by a police officer. ↗
After a short detour to the andro TT school at Borussia Düsseldorf, he headed to the andro headquarters in Dortmund. Short break and off to the BVB Borussia Dortmund family day, where he appeared in front of thousands of football fans and was interviewed during a tt-match.
A milestone of his time in Germany was the 31st andro Kids Open in Düsseldorf. Over 600 children from 16 different countries met at Europe's largest youth tournament; for 3 days it was all about table tennis. Adam was on site during the tournament, conducting award ceremonies and playing against hundreds of young stars.
"We want to show the table tennis community how he celebrates table tennis" says Anja Bergmann, Marketing Director at andro.
The "SNAKE" - Adam's special stroke also conquered the Cologne street scene on their stone tables. Thomas Roßkopf, owner of the local shop TT-Experten Köln, announced various campaigns in advance at various locations. Well over a hundred players came to test their luck against Adam's crowd-wowing spin shots. Many passers-by stopped and watched, spellbound, by the crowds. The 25-year-old Nico Dulfer has been waiting for a chance to finally play against one of his idols for a long time: "I've been following him for a long time and always wanted to play against him." Also excited, Ilias Emmanuel exclaims "I won a point - I can live with that." ↗
