Wim Verdonschot celebrates the biggest success of his young career: the 20-year-old andro player wins his first WTT singles title at the WTT Feeder Gdańsk. In a strong 3:1 final performance, Verdonschot defeats Korea’s world-class left-hander Cho Daeseong and takes a major step into the international spotlight.
“This is definitely the biggest success of my career,” Verdonschot says. “Until now I always fell short in the semifinals, so I’m really happy that I could take the title this time. I didn’t expect this at all.”
